FIT FOR A FRAME. A few weeks ago we posted some sneak previews of Fit For A Frame. Birmingham based designer Ryan Dean-Corke created this superb shop as a side project alongside his job as a User Interface designer “Fit for a Frame is all about selling gorgeous prints, thoughtful design, created by a range of designers and artists and not having the hassle and cost of finding a frame to fit it.” The shop will be replenished quarterly, with a different batch of designers and prints each time. “The big idea is to release runs of 3 limited edition screen print designs every 2/3 months, including different artists each time. It’s not about mass-production, making big bucks or a ‘that’ll do’ mentality. It’s about building a collection of varied art & design and making the experience of buying a print easy and enjoyable.” With designs from Claire Hartley, James Braithwaite and Ryan himself for the first season of Fit For A Frame, he’s already set the bar high for the next batch.Fit For A Frame Blog | Website
